The name ‘Jesus’ means “Yahweh saves.” In this man, the Salvation promised by the God of Abraham has arrived . Christ is the true “ Tabernacle ” where God’s “ Glory ” resides, not the Tent in the Wilderness. What was anticipated in the History of Israel has become reality in the “ only born Son ” of God.
